How-To Guide: Signing into Google Workspace
Overview
This guide will provides steps for signing into the university's Google Workspace instance. We recommend signing out of all external Google accounts from your work issued devices before you begin. This will prevent saving important and private data to the wrong account.
What You'll Need
- Computer
- Chrome browser
- Access to Google Workspace
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Signing out
- In the upper right corner of your Chrome browser, find your initials or photo
- Select Sign out of all accounts
Step 2: Close browser
- Close all Chrome browser windows
- Reopen Chrome
Step 3: Sign in
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner next to the address bar
- Select Verify it's you
- Enter your university email
- Select Next
- Verify your identity with the university's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
