Canvas: Non-Credit Course Requests

Description:


Canvas Non‑Credit Course Requests provides faculty and staff with a way to request Canvas course spaces that are not associated with academic credit. These courses can be used for professional development, training, outreach, workshops, continuing education, student organizations, co‑curricular activities and other university business needs. Use this service to request either a CU Online Open Course or a Canvas Co‑Curricular Course.

How to proceed

 

CU Online Open Course Request

Click the CU Online Open Course Request button on the right to request a non‑credit Canvas course that supports training, professional development, outreach or other learning activities that are not tied to academic credit. An IT Professional will review your submission during regular business hours and respond within established Service Level Objectives.

 

Canvas Co‑Curricular Course Request

Click the Canvas Co‑Curricular Course Request button on the right to request a Canvas course that supports co‑curricular programs, student engagement, departmental initiatives, communities of practice or other non‑credit activities. An IT Professional will review your submission during regular business hours and respond within established Service Level Objectives.
