Description:

Web accessibility is the practice of ensuring your web site works for all people, including people with disabilities. In order to achieve this, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 was created by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The web team provides one on one support and resources on web accessibility to ensure your website is meeting university and lawful standards.

How to proceed: 

  • Click on the Attend an Open Lab button on the right to register for a one on one virtual meeting with a member of the web team. Upon signing up, you will receive an invite for a 30 minute meeting to discuss any questions you may have.
     

  • Click on the Request Accessibility Support button on the right to open a ticket with our accessibility expert. The team will review your request and respond within the established Service Level Objectives. Coming soon: Learn more about Service Level Objectives.

Our Website Accessibility pages on @Web serve as the university's hub for information regarding web accessibility, including information on how content editors and site owners can ensure that their web sites are following accessibility guidelines. Web accessibility includes content, page structure, images, videos, documents, and color usage.
