Description:
The Computing Infrastructure Team creates nightly backup copies of file server data stored on Isilon as snapshots, and of hosted servers as Commvault backups. These backups can be used to restore data from a date up to 30 days prior. Users can restore data from Isilon snapshots themselves (see article below) or request assistance.
For Commvault restores, or for help with restoring from a snapshot, please provide the following information:
- Server Name
- Full path to the files or folders to be restored (Example: \\servername\foldername\subfoldername or smb://servername/foldername/subfolder)
- Date when it was last working
