Description:
Application or Storage Placement consulting helps CU Anschutz faculty, staff and researchers select the right operating environment and storage solution based on performance, cost, lifecycle, and compliance requirements. ISS will assess your data and workloads against CU Anschutz classifications, Public, Confidential, and Highly Confidential, to recommend an approved placement option and required safeguards. Recommendations align to approved CU Anschutz tools and platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, Alpine HPC, Google Workspace, ChatGPT Edu) for collaboration and campus managed storage/compute and include a migration approach when needed. For details on data classification and the current list of approved tools and applications, refer to the official CU Anschutz webpages.
