Description:
Quarantine Email protects your university email account by holding messages that may be suspicious or unsafe. Emails placed in quarantine can include phishing attempts, spoofed messages, or messages sent from systems that do not meet security requirements.
You can review quarantined emails, preview message content, and request release of messages you believe are safe. If an email is determined to pose a high security risk, it may require additional review before it can be released.
Review this article to see how to release legitimate emails from quarantine yourself.
Note: If you receive a message that you cannot release yourself, submit a ticket requesting the release of that email. If it is deemed safe, the message will be released to your Inbox and reported to Microsoft to improve their detection for similar messages in the future. If it was quarantined due to a misconfigured mailer, future messages will continue to be quarantined until the sender corrects their mail configuration.
