Endpoint Management is a vast and varied field of device management. At CU Denver and CU Anschutz, endpoints encompass laptops, desktops, workstations, tablets, and smartphones. Endpoint Management is the practices and procedures that are involved in implementing and maintaining our Baseline Secure Computing Standards on the devices that connect to the university network.

Endpoint Management is the responsibility of all IT partners across the campus including Information Strategy and Services (ISS), the Denver Office of Information Technology (Denver OIT), and school and department IT administrators throughout the CU Denver and CU Anschutz communities. There are 2 primary tools to manage Windows endpoints, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). How to proceed: 

  • Before you submit a ticket, please review the IT Partner Knowledge Base for answers to common questions and issues.
     
  • Click on the Endpoint Management Support button on the right if you can't find what you're looking for in our Knowledge Base, or if you have a question or need general assistance. You will fill out a form that includes your contact information and a description of your question or issue.  An IT Professional will review your ticket during normal business hours are respond within established Service Level Objectives.  Coming soon: Learn more about Service Level Objectives. 
     
  • Click the Request a Baseline Standards Exception button on the right to request an exception from one of the university’s Baseline Secure Computing Standards. Your request should include the business justification, scope, and duration of the exception.
