Duo’s updated MFA adds a quick “Verify” step and defaults to push notifications for faster, more secure logins. After your first sign-in, Duo remembers your preferred method for future access.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for reactivating your Duo account when you switch to a new mobile device.
Due is the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) tool that the university uses to authenticate in to university systems using Duo Push or Duo Passcode. Push is the preferred method for authenticating, but Duo Passcode is a secure option if you are in airplane mode or otherwise without a cellular or Wi-Fi Internet connection. You need the Duo app downloaded on your device to enter a passcode.
